MLB Trivia: Managing Wins

Bobby Cox plans to retire at the end of this season. He currently has the highest winning percentage (.556) among active MLB managers. Who is second on that list? (Hint: This manager led his team to a World Series championship within the past decade.)

Torre?

Well, Torre did win a World Series within the past 10 years (2000), but surprisingly he's not the answer. It's actually Charlie Manual. If Cox goes ahead and retires as planned, then that would leave Manual as the active manager with the highest winning percentage. Although, very close behind would be Ron Gardenhire and Mike Scioscia.

Now that I think about it, I should have noted a certain minimum number of games managed. One could argue that Mike Quade's .649 winning percentage is the highest, but I think somebody needs to manage at least one full season before we start looking at their winning percentage.
