The start of the MLB season, Opening Day, is a special time that brings with it a little extra energy compared to the rest of the 162-game grind. Two players are tied for the most career home runs on Opening Day with eight. One of those players is Frank Robinson. The other player accomplished the feat much more recently. Can you name him?

The answer is Ken Griffey Jr. Interestingly enough, Griffey hit his 7th Opening Day homer in 1999, which was his last season with Seattle before heading to Cincinnati. He didn't hit his 8th and record-tying Opening Day homer until 10 years later in 2009, which also happened to be after he had returned to play for Seattle again. So he never hit an Opening Day homer while a Cincinnati Red.
